'''Standard Action:''' Most non-movement actions that do not take a full round take a standard action. '''Move Action:''' Movement at your base speed. '''Quick Action:''' Extremely minor or rapid actions. Can be performed even outside of one's turn. '''Heroic Action:''' Special extraordinary actions. Can be performed even outside of one's turn, unless otherwise noted. ==Hero Level== Sum of class levels in non-prestige, non-NPC classes. Choices of Feats, Heroic Actions and spells are keyed to one's Hero Level, not to any single class level. A level 16 warrior/level 1 wizard could conceivably cast Time Stop. However, without being skilled as a wizard, it would be impractical to do so. ==Heroic Profiles== Each class brings with it Heroic Profiles, which are keywords to select Heroic Actions. One's starting class confers all of its Heroic Profiles; other classes, if added, confer only one of their own, no matter how many levels one has.
