==Basic Description== This rule is quite simple, and is meant to enhance the Supernatural feel of a campaign. First off, to use this rule, you are going to need to use the vitality/wound system. Vitality represents the creature's ability to dodge damage and recover from minor trauma. As such, any weapon can cause Vitality points to lower. For example, if Dean shoots a Wendigo with a shotgun (which deals 2d8 damage) and rolls 12 damage, the Wendigo looses 12 vitality points. Wound represents the creature's ability to take actual damage. This is where the weakness rule comes into play. Whereas any weapon can reduce Vitality points, only a specific weakness can lower wound points. For example, if Dean was to score a critical hit against the Wendigo with a shotgun, it would cause no damage, as the Wendigo is impervious to bullets. If he was to get a critical hit with a flame thrower, however, the Wendigo would suffer wound point loss, as its species has a weakness to fire. Keep in mind that the weakness weapon does not automatically deal wound point damage on a successful hit. You must still either lower your opponents Vitality points to 0 or roll a critical hit to deal wound point damage. ==Why Include This Rule?== This rule makes the chances of survival a lot more slim. Even creatures with low CR can have up to triple health points when compared to a monster of the same kind using the more common hit point system. This also makes creatures impossible to kill unless the PCs are prepared, which also fits in well with the theme of Supernatural. This system also raises the mortality rate of the PCs, because a monster with a few lucky roles can easily kill human players (especially since humans don't have a specific weakness). This means, at most, the PCs will be able to hand one or two monsters of their CR or less before needing a rest. Perfect for mystery campaigns where the main characters are hunting down a small group of monsters per adventure. ==Compiled Monster Weaknesses== {|border=1px !Creature!!Weakness |- |Acheri Demon || Iron |- |Angel || Special |- |Angriak || Special (see Ghost) |- |Blackdog || None (any weapon can kill it) |- |Buruburu || Special (see Ghost) |- |Changeling || Fire |- |Chupacabra || None (any weapon can kill it) |- |Croatoan Infected || None (any weapon can kill it) |- |Crocotta || None (any weapon can kill it) |- |Daeva || Special (see Demon) |- |Death Echo || Special (see Ghost) |- |Death Omen || Special (see Ghost) |- |Demon || Special |- | Djinn || None (any weapon can kill it) |- |Elemental, Air || Special (see Elemental) |- |Elemental, Earth || Special (see Elemental) |- |Elemental, Fire || Water |- |Elemental, Water || Fire |- |Ghost || Special |- |Ghoul || Decapitation |- |Hellhound || Iron/Salt/Hellhound Natural Weapons |- |Leshii || Decapitation |- |Poltergeist || Special (see Ghost) |- |Protection Vanir || Special |- |Rakshasa || Brass |- |Rawhead || Electricity |- |Reaper || Special |- |Revenant || Silver |- |Rugaru || Fire |- |Shapeshifter || Silver |- |Siren || Oxytocin |- |Skin-walker || White Ash |- |Striga || Special |- |Succubus || Iron |- |Trickster || Stake |- |Weeping Woman || Special (see Ghost) |- |Werewolf || Silver |- |Wraith || Silver |- |Zombie, Death's Chosen || Decapitation |- |Zombie, Living Dead || Special |- |Zombie, Undead || Decapitation |}
