Saurian Shifters were first introduced in Dragon Magazine #328. The Saurian Shifters mentioned there were the descendants of humans and reptilian lycanthropes. The variant mentioned here does not change much, but a few noticeable changes have been made. Keep in mind that Saurian Shifters are not OGL, so their complete stats cannot be posted here. To find the full list of statistics, Dragon Magazine #328 is needed. This subrace of shifters are the descendants of Halflings and reptilian [[Variant: Lycanthropes|Lycanthropes]]. Listed below are the changes: '''Size:''' Small. As a Small creature, a Saurian Shifter gains a +1 size bonus to Armor Class, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 size bonus on Hide checks, but she uses smaller weapons than humans use, and her lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of a Medium character. '''Speed:''' 20 ft. '''Shifting (Su):''' As the ability mentioned in the magazine, except a Saurian Shifter can only choose one shifter form at character creation, not two (this goes for all Shifters, not just these). The shifter form chosen at character creation represents the Saurian SHifter's heritage and cannot be changed after being selected. The selection of shifter forms are mentioned below (fluff only, find the statistics for said forms in either the Player's Guide to Eberron, or Dragon Magazine #328).
''Beasthide-'' The Beasthide Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Weretriceratops. When they shift, their skin hardens, three horns grow from their heads (though they are not sharp or strong enough to be used to attack), and a small frill appearsaround the back of the neck.
''Broadwing-'' The Broadwing Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Werepteranodons. When they shift, their arms expand, flaps of skin grow from the wrists to the waist, and their mouth protrudes a little farther, so it looks almost beak-like.
''Junglerunner-'' Junglerunner Saurian Shifters are the descendants of WereLeaellynsauras. When they shift, their legs grow slightly longer, and they can see slightly better.
''Longtooth-'' Longtooth Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Werecrocodiles. When these Shifters shift, their mouths become longer and more reptilian, and their teeth become sharper and serrated. Small, scaly growths appear on their back.
''Raptorleap-'' As the name implies, Raptorleap Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Werevelociraptors. When they shift, Small unformed claws appear on their feet, small feathers appear on their arms, and their legs become stronger and more reptilian.
''Razorclaw-'' Razorclaw Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Werefleshrakers. When they shift, spikes grow on their backs, their skin hardens, and their fingers transform into deadly claws.
''Widetail-'' Widetail Saurian Shifters are the descendants of Wereankylosauruses. When they shift their back becomes tougher, and they become strong enough to support the extra weight of a tail (which also grows during the transformation). At the end of the tail is a club, that can be used for lethal tail slap attacks.
