Skill Groups

A character may put points in to a skill group rather than individual skills. Each skill group has a number of skill points the cost, as indicated in their description, which you may pay in to until one of the skills it provides for reaches its limit for that level.

Each time you pay for a skill group, it acts as though you add 1 skill point to each skill in that group.

The skill groups:

Acrobatics

Cost: 3 Skill Points

Skills: Balance, Climb, Jump, Swim, Tumble

Deception

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Skills: Bluff, Disguise, Forgery

Influence

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Skills: Diplomacy, Gather Information, Intimidate

Mechanics

Cost: 1 Skill Point

Skills: Disable Device, Open Lock

Perception

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Skills: Listen, Search, Spot

Surreptitious

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Skills: Escape Artist, Hide, Move Silently

Study

Cost: 3 Skill Points (or 3 Fluff Skill Points)

Skills: Knowledge(Architecture), Knowledge(Geography), Knowledge(History), Knowledge(Local), Knowledge(Nobility and Royalty)
