Sagitana ("archery game") is a sport practiced by the Hunters of the Stag. It involves at least two players, though at times the team variation is played. There is also an annual tournament, held on the autumnal equinox, which is judged by the First and the High Priest. ==One-On-One== The one-on-one version of this game involves one player throwing or rolling an object, usually a hoop or a round of wood. The other player must hit the object with an arrow before it stops moving, or the thrower gets a point. The game is usually played where three consecutive throws are performed before places are exchanged. Four points wins you the game. ==Team== The team version of the game is very similar, but there are a few key differences: first, the score limit is raised to twenty points; second, each team shoots (or throws, depending) all at once. Should two members of the same team hit the same target, the hit is only counted once. ==Variations== Variations of this sport include: *using javelins, bola, or other missile weapons in place of arrows *throwing more than one target at once *limiting the number of shots allowed per target *restricting or disallowing the use of magic
