HorjinicMagic ==Kynigimancy (Hunting Magic)== While certainly not required, most Hunters of the Stag learn this Path during the first few months after their Initiation Ceremony. All these spells last ten minutes unless otherwise noted. ---- ===The Stalking Steps=== Quiet reduces all sounds made by the caster (except for voice) to an extremely low level. This spell requires an owl's feather, which is consumed in the casting. Whisper causes the caster's voice to become audible only to those the caster is directly speaking to. This spell requires a strip of rabbit's fur, which is consumed in the casting. Silence combines the effects of Quiet and Whisper. This spell requires an owl' feather, a strip of rabbit fur, and a piece of bark, all of which are consumed in the casting. ===The Blurring Steps=== Blur causes the caster's image to become blurred, which aids in both camouflage and in defense. This spell requires a piece of glass, which is not consumed in the casting. Blend acts the same as Blur, but also mutes the colors of the caster, somewhat matching them to their surroundings. This spell requires a piece of colored glass, which is not consumed in the casting. Match makes the caster transparent (not invisible, an important distinction), but the edges of the caster are still slightly visible in much the same way as the sides of glass are. This spell requires a prism, which is not consumed in the casting. ===The Arching Steps=== Eagle's Eyes is the same as the Path of the Questing Stone spell. Sure Shot fires an arrow that will hit any target within the caster's line of sight, but only if that target remain in the caster's line of sight until the arrow strikes. This spell requires an arrow painted black that is not consumed in the casting. Trick Shot allows the caster to see through the eyes of his arrow. The caster can also manipulate the arrow to a small degree. The caster becomes immobile during the duration of the spell. This spell requires an arrow with eyes carved on it that is not consumed in the casting. ===The Pouncing Steps=== Jump extends the caster's jumping range to double what it usually is. This spell requires rabbits' fur, which is not consumed in the casting. Leap extends the jumping range of the caster to triple its normal distance. This spell requires rabbits' fur, which is consumed in the casting. Pounce is the same as Leap, bit also grants the caste the ability of ignore the landing terrain. Most uses of this spell allows the caster to jump directly onto an opponent without losing their balance. This spell requires a metal spring, which is consumed in the casting. ===The Vertices=== Mute combines Silence and Match, making the caster noiseless and nearly invisible. The edges of the caster are also slightly blurred, making the caster more difficult to discern than simply under the effects of Match. This spell requires an owl's feather encased in a prism, which is consumed during casting. Dive Shot combines Pounce and Trick Shot, allowing the caster to move during "piloting" the arrow. This spell requires a spring and an arrow carved with eyes. The spring is consumed in the casting. Silent Arrow causes the caster to become silent and effectively invisible, as in Mute, while simultaneously allowing the user all benefits of Dive Shot. This spell requires a prism, an owl feather, rabbit fur, and arrows carved with eyes. All but the arrow is consumed in the casting.
