HorjinicMagic ==Afaimassomancy (Blood Magic)== This is a dark path that not many tread. It has its roots in the Path of the Berserk Sandworm, but has evolved on its own from there to what it is today. Spells in the Path of the Blood Moon require a Hunter to use a bladed weapon that they have a strong personal connection with. This is usually their hunting knife, though not always. Attempts to use spells of this path with a different weapon will summon a Pain Spirit, who will start wreaking havoc on the Hunter and the surrounding area. ===The Steps of Transmutation=== Trash to Treasure allows the caster to mend a broken object by dripping his blood on it. The blood evaporates into purple mist after touching the object, and is then consumed. This spell would not fix a broken machine, but instead fix a broken gear. In essence, the item to be mended must be a consistent whole. Dusk to Dawn allows the caster to see the world as though it were daytime. The caster smears blood onto his forehead, which is then (apparently) absorbed into the skin, but in reality consumed. Bone to Blade is the same as the Path of the Berserk Sandworm spell. Skin to Stone is the same as the Path of the Berserk Sandworm spell. Pain to Pleasure is the same as the Path of the Berserk Sandworm spell, Lunatic High, except the caster's blood is consumed instead of a survaria flower thorn. ===The Steps of Companion=== Reap and Sow allows the caster, by sprinkling an amount of their blood on the ground below them, to grow a fruit-bearing shrub out of the ground. Earth and Sky allows the caster, by sprinkling some of their blood on dirt, to grow a large earthen wall out of the ground. This wall is about twelve feet high and about thirty feet wide, space permitting. Fire and Ice allows the caster, by sprinkling some of their blood on their weapons and armor, to enchant their equipment. Their weapon will become superheated and their armor chilled to sub-zero temperatures, but the caster is unaffected by their own equipment. Tooth and Nail is the same as the Path of the Berserk Sandworm spell Sandworm's Soul, except the required component is an amount of the caster's blood smeared on their face, arms, and hands. Life and Death grants the caster the ability to give up a small portion of their life force (their blood), in exchange healing another person with the same restrictions as the Path of the Berserk Sandworm spell Regeneration. ===The Steps of Opposition=== Rhyme or Reason allows the caster to give up a bit of their own blood in exchange for the ability to speak as clearly and effectively as an expert solloloquist, or to perform a song expertly. Truth or Dare allows the caster to spend a small amount of their own blood to see through illusion, or to perform an action that chances would not normally proscribe. Basically, this spell makes the caster incredibly lucky for a short time. Fact or Fiction allows the caster to spend a small amount of their own blood to tell if the statements of anyone they speak to in the next hour are true or false, to the speaker's belief. Feast or Famine allows the caster to change an amount of food by an order of magnitude by spending a small amount of their blood. Increased orders taste bland and flavorless. Blessing or Bane allows the caster to spend a small amount of blood to bless or curse someone. The blessing is much the same as Truth or Dare, while the curse is about the opposite: the subject becomes clumsy, and even rudimentary actions become difficult in the next fifteen minutes. ===The Steps of Unification=== Unification Allows the caster to spend a small amount of blood to combine the effects of Skin to Stone, Tooth and Nail, and Truth or Dare Bloodmoon's Transformation Bloodmoon's Companion Bloodmoon's Opposition Grand Unification Blood Moon __NOTOC__
