Starting at 7th level, a soulknife learns to use the powerful traits of quintessence to increase his combat ability. After attempting and failing a combat manuever (A bull rush, a disarm, a grapple (including a pin), or a trip.), the soulknife alters the timestream, and can make a second attempt using his Wisdom modifier in place of his Strength or Dexterity modifier. If the soulknife does so and this echoed attempt also fails, he becomes Dazed.
