The '''Soulknife''' class is a warrior more in touch with his own psychic energy. While most psions find creating quintessence to be a rather difficult task, soulknives adapt to it quickly. By meditating, a soulknife can expand and contract his own soul in the dimension of time as he moves forward through time. The ripples caused by this disturbance emanate from him in the form of quintessence. Most soulknives use their soulcraft specifically to make weapons; however, a few have discovered ways to create other tools. At first level, the soulcraft takes two hours, and can only be used to create the soulknife's soul weapon. The amount of time is reduced at 9th level, when it only takes 5 minutes, and again at 18th level, when it only takes a full-round action. The soulknife must meditate uninterrupted for the duration of the soulcraft. Effects that disturb the manifestation of psionic power, such as by making manifesting require a concentration check or save, also affect soulcrafting. Objects made with soulcrafting appear to be made out of solid glass or resin, but are really made of solidified quintessence, time energy itself. If a soulcrafted object leaves the soulknife's person, the soulknife becomes unconscious, or the object is broken, then the object fades back into the timestream. '''Soul Weapon (Su)''' The first thing a soulknife learns to make with soulcrafting is his soul weapon. Soul weapons function just as normal weapons. Creating a solid soul weapon out of frozen quintessence is actually much easier than using it in its raw form. At 10th level, a soulknife begins to master controlling quintessence in its natural state. The soulknife can produce and control a number of ounces of quintessence equal to his soulknife class level at a time. The soulknife can create raw quintessence as per the Quintessence power and can move it as per the Far Hand power.
