The sturdy PMX series, colloquially called the A-Cruise, is one of the earliest production models still being manufactured today. Rolled out with them is a survival pack for armor crews facing a disabled or destroyed platform in the midst of hostile fire, known as the Bindle. It contains a supply of field repair equipment, a single-use emergency field recharger, a backup commlink, distress beacon, and an M330 Collapsible Buster Rifle, which has become almost the iconic sidearm of the PMX. A-Cruise are typically very insular or hesitant to speak; however, when left to their own devices they express themselves through the equipment they have been attached to, painting them in wild, diverse colorschemes.

One of the oldest production model Reploids, predating the 1st generation and visibly primitive by comparison, Axe Maxes use a booster "foot" to hover across terrain, planting it to anchor themselves before undertaking tasks such as woodcutting or controlled demolition. Capable of powerful rotational forces when so anchored, Axe Maxes remain in use in specific areas, typically supplemented with Mechaniloid help. Many have left industrial work to join the Axe League, a baseball league comprised entirely of Axe Max units. Reports indicate that a large number have also gone Maverick, which at the time was considered a defect of the test generation.

A criminal-developed Reploid, data on Chaff Weasel was difficult to gather due to both his nature and his role in several criminal undertakings, which was largely relegated to physical systems interference using a spray of his Blackout Flares. Black box surveillance over several months in tandem with testimony from some of his captured colleagues has finally exposed Weasel, whose abilities without the support of his former team have been judged B-Class.

An absurdly heavyset Reploid girded with ammunition belts and a recognizable beard and cap, Kiloton is a tried-and-true soldier whose massive frame is just full of surprises. The Kralmacht design was a favorite of Sigma, boasting a powerful claw weapon with tremendous upgrade capacity, fortified defensive shields and mobility boosters. Unfortunately, Kralmacht are warlike, require a lot of direct supervision and don't follow orders well. They are a tremendous asset but must be handled with care.

With their handsome silver caps and civilian-friendly, utilitarian design, Steel Berets have mobilized well since their production commissioning and have produced individual Reploids of officer-caliber quality. Their P903 Buster Rifles are slightly stronger than standard issue buster weapons, though they have an inferior charge capacity.
