There are two varieties, the savage Hezral Mkreth, who ride aetherwhales and prey on travelers, and the Hezral Sthrayn, mystics who have learned to manipulate the aether and the shardstuff for their own purposes. == Hezral Mkreth == Hezral Mkreth are a large, savage people who have learned to tame even the mighty aetherwhales. They are constantly on the hunt for fresh prey, chasing wild aetherwhales, astral sleepers, and any people foolish enough to risk the spaces between. '''Alignment:''' Hezral Mkreth tend towards chaotic neutral. They glory in the hunt. '''Lands:''' Hezral Mkreth are nomadic, traveling through the aether in search of their prey. They live on the whales they have tamed, leaving only when they attack. '''Religion:''' Hezral Mkreth worship Kshalkro Mkreth, a savage god of the hunt. Their very essence is infused with energies that counter and suppress magic. Once every minute, a Hezral Mkreth can breath out an invisible cloud of these energies, producing a 30' anti-magic cone that lingers for 1d4 rounds.
