Grogs are large ape-creatures present in The Vampire Earth. They were brought here by another planet through the Interworld Tree: a sort of road between all planets. More on the Interworld Tree Later... Several varieties of Grog exist, the most commonly-seen being the large, simple ones called Grey Ones. Grey Ones: The Grey Ones are simple, tribal beings which are admittedly quite dull. They do not have to be brutish, however; some Grey Ones have exhibited almost childlike playfulness, when they are friendly. Nevertheless, Grey Ones are a formidable force to oppose, with their incredible strength and massive rifles. Grey Ones are used as a sort of warrior-slave by the Kurians, who send them on many guard and attack missions. Occasionally, friendly ones are to be found; there's a town in the Ozarks where Grogs and Humans live in equality. A player could choose to play as a Grey One, although roleplaying could be a tad dodgy due to their ape-grunts. In any case, Quislings view the Grogs as slave labor most of the time, while free territories such as Southern Command are quite hostile towards them. A Grog PC would almost definitely require cation in free territories, and patience in Quisling lands. '''Grey One stats:''' +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -4 Intelligence Medium 40 ft. movement speed. They often run on all fours, and support themselves in a manner similar to that of an ape. Grey Ones gain Track as a racial bonus feat. Weapon Familiarity: Grey Ones can use Grog weapons as Martial, Rather than Exotic. Grog weapons are also not oversized to a Grey One. Grey Ones gain +1 Fortitude and -1 Will saving throws. Stability: A Grey Ones gains a +4 bonus on ability checks made to resist being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground (but not when climbing, flying, riding, or otherwise not standing firmly on the ground). +2 racial bonus to all Craft checks. Grey Ones put a great deal of thought and craftsmanship into every work; even their rifles are decorated. Automatic Language: Grog Favored Class: Soldier Level Adjustment: +3
