Grippli are amphibious humanoids resembling the frogs which are common in their native marshes.

Personality: Grippli society is primitive by human standards, but peaceful. In Marranarch, Grippli live mostly on the Downtrodden Isle in a variety of splintered tribes. Grippli tend to be nonaggressive and shy, though battle is not unheard of. An adventuring Grippli character could be on a quest on behalf of her dwindling tribe, or perhaps an outcast from her tribe.

Physical Description: Grippli average only two and a half feet tall, weighing somewhere around 30 pounds. Except for their dextrous hands and prehensile feet, Grippli look very much like large frogs, with grey-green skin mottled and striped with darker greens and browns.

Alignment: Grippli tend towards neutrality. Player character Grippli may be of any alignment.

Grippli Lands: The Downtrodden Isle was once populated by Blues and Grippli together, but the Blues have since moved northwards into the Barony of Atarcy.

Religion: Grippli religion involves two deities: Wastri the Hopping Prophet and Steena the Frozen Queen.

Language: Gripplan is their primary language, consisting largely of croaks, rumbles, and other sounds difficult to make with the human tongue. PCs wishing to learn Gripplan must spend two skill points (instead of the standard one) to learn Gripplan. Gripplan has no written form.
