| + | As the group rests from their battle, they are ambushed by a circle of nine mages wearing the same ring as they have, who demand that they cease their search for the staff. They leave two demons - called by one of the mages with an address to "Kleio" and "Thalia" - to deal with the party and vanish into the night. After the battle, the group discovered the secret of the ring given to them by Ludvig. They also learn that a cursed decanter has gone missing from a merchant, and offer to retrieve it if they ever see a man who is permanently on fire from the curse.<br> | ||
