=== Basics ===
 +
 +
These rules basically represent sex as an advancement from state to state in any figures involved in the same sexual activity (including the user themself - though HOPEFULLY you don't need to be making skill checks to simulate solo sexual behavior, the effects of your actions towards others on yourself are part of the factor). While this makes for a really bad romance novel, it's a fairly sane way to get the job done.
 +
 +
Prowess checks are rolled at the top of each minute, and resolved at the end of it. At the same time as the prowess check is rolled, you may make one action such as changing position or casting a spell. The most important thing you need to do, however, is declare which proficiency you're using, and on whom, as well as how much of the rank bonus you're using.
 +
 +
The effects of the Prowess check are then resolved by checking which modifiers apply from the Modifiers List, then checking against the Arousal and Horniness charts (by gender). Failing to attain any listed chart means that the state is not maintained and can potentially expire.
 +
 +
A character can make as many Prowess checks as they have applicable appendages (and can make them on anyone in reach); however, each check beyond the first raises the DC of ''all'' of the checks by four, and you must split your Prowess between all ranks. Making multiple checks on the same person adds the results of all checks together for the total Prowess on that person.
 +
 +
Any conditions that apply for half of the minute are considered to apply; any that apply for less aren't. As always, the GM is free to just plain fudge the numbers to make this easier.
 +
 +
=== Modifiers ===
 +
 +
Any modifier that applies here modifies all DCs on both the Arousal and Horniness charts, unless specified otherwise. (Thus, if the DC goes up, it's bad.) Notice that the chart only modifies the DC, never the Prowess ranks itself.

=== Resisting Prowess Checks ===
 +
 +
Characters are capable of resisting the effects of Prowess Checks using Fortitude or Will saves. If the character is Unwilling, they automatically attempt all these checks; if the character is Uninterested, they make a separate Will save ''before'' making these checks; success means these checks auto-succeed. This also represents a character's attempts to hold back their state so that they can bring their partner greater joy by lasting longer.
 +
 +
These save DCs are ''only'' used when representing a character resisting Prowess checks, ''not spells or the like'' - they have their own DCs.

=== Prolonging Climax/Ecstasy ===
 +
 +
Once a character becomes Climaxed or Ecstatic, the base time unit becomes the combat round (six seconds) rather than the minute, as their partners try to prolong and even intensify the character's rapture. Make a check at the end of each round, at the DCs below. When the character fails to meet either DC, or succeeds for all ten rounds, the character descends to Aroused (if female) or Recovering (if male). (If the Female's Arousal fades after a Climax, ''then'' they enter Recovering.)
 +
 +
Note that this does make it possible for a character to shift between Climax and Ecstasy several times over several rounds. That's normal and intended.
 +
 +
Also note that if both characters are in Climax or Ecstasy, they're probably going to fail their checks and not be able to continue Prowess checks on each other. That's just the way it goes.

=== Sexual Fatigue ===
 +
 +
Sex is exhausting. If you don't know this by experience, you're just going to have to take it from those who do.
 +
 +
Every round spent in Climax or Ecstasy deals one point of temporary Wisdom damage.
 +
 +
A character who is not Fatigued or Exhausted can go for 1+CON rounds in Climax or one round in Ecstasy before becoming Fatigued; a character who is Fatigued can go for 1+CON rounds in Climax or one round in Ecstasy before becoming Exhausted.
 +
 +
Once a character is Exhausted, each round spent in Climax state deals 1d6 nonlethal damage, and each round spent in Ecstasy deals 3d6 damage. (HINT: KO'ing someone through sex is ''not'' something to brag about.)
 +
 +
=== Size Matters ===
 +
 +
If both characters are Medium, you've got nothing to worry about here, thankfully...
 +
 +
If they're not, though, things start getting odd (particularly since certain feats can add or remove half a size). Any modifiers here ''only'' apply for checks that involve inserting a Tab "A" into a Slot "B" - though the Tab might be a toy or the like. (Remember that these checks can go both ways!)
 +
 +
Compare the size of the object being inserted to the orifice being inserted into.
 +
 +
* If the Tab is more than two sizes smaller than the Slot, it doesn't do much of anything. A theoretical male Pixie would have a hard time getting anything out of a Medium-sized inserting his ''entire body'' into the orifice, let alone just his schwanz!
 +
* If the Tab is two sizes smaller than the Slot, Prowess checks (both ways) incur a -8 penalty (-4 in Quickchecking).
 +
* If the Tab is one and a half sizes smaller than the Slot, Prowess checks (both ways) incur a -6 penalty (-3 in Quickchecking).
 +
* If the Tab is one size smaller than the Slot, Prowess checks (both ways) incur a -4 penalty (-2 in Quickchecking).
 +
* If the Tab is half a size smaller than the Slot, Prowess checks (both ways) incur a -2 penalty (-1 in Quickchecking).
 +
* If the Tab and Slot are of matched size, then there's no modifier - things are about normal.
 +
* If the Tab is half a size larger than the Slot, Prowess checks get a +2 bonus, but the recipient takes 1 point of nonlethal damage each minute unless they make a Fortitude save (DC 10).
 +
* If the Tab is one size larger than the Slot, Prowess checks get a +4 bonus, but the recipient takes 1d6 points of nonlethal damage every minute unless they make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + their Hit Dice). ''No Quickchecking at this point, because KO'ing the subject in the middle of sex is VERY likely.''
 +
* If the Tab is one-and-a-half sizes larger than the Slot, ''the Tab really should not be going into the slot.'' Prowess checks get a +6 bonus, but the recipient takes 1d6 points of ''lethal'' damage each minute (Fort save DC 15+recipient's HD reduces to nonlethal). (If you thought KO'ing someone during sex was considered bad form, picture how bad ''killing'' them will be...)
 +
* If the Tab is two sizes larger than the Slot, ''why the hell haven't you read the last note yet?!?!'' Prowess checks get a +8 bonus, but the recipient takes 3d6 points of ''lethal'' damage each minute (Fort save DC 20+recipient's HD reduces to 1d6 lethal damage).
 +
* If the Tab's larger than any of the previous sizes allow, ''it doesn't fit. Period. No, Just, No.''
 +
 +
== End Results (and quick rules!) ==
 +
 +
=== Social Results of The Sexy ===
 +
 +
Good sex tends to produce emotional attachments in people most of the time. This is just kind of the way that sorta thing goes. (Note that this is a ''two way'' street for most PCs). This is represented as a modifier to their attitude towards the subject, as per the possible results of Diplomacy checks. The results can raise their reaction by up to three ranks.
 +
 +
More valuably, a true sexual god can even bring people to states beyond helpful through sufficiently good sex; a character brought beyond Helpful is considered Charmed, a character brought beyond Charmed is considered Dominated, and a character who is brought beyond Dominated is Enthralled.
 +
 +
Benefits are temporary or permanent in nature; temporary bonuses last one week before dropping; temporary bonuses do NOT stack with permanent ones (however, a temporary ''penalty'' does).
 +
 +
Note that only the ''highest'' permanent bonus ever attained applies (all others can be ignored). Actions that anger the character otherwise make their reactions towards you less positive first come out of this bonus.
 +
 +
For each Climax or Ecstasy period entered during one session of sex, add a number of Gratification Points according to the following equation:
 +
* If the character was in Climax for that round of the period, add the round's number to their Gratification.
 +
* If the character was in Ecstacy for that round of the period, add ''double'' the round's number to their Gratification.
 +
 +
For example, if a character climaxed three times in one sexual session, each climax lasting three rounds and never going into ecstasy, each would be worth 1+2+3 = 6 points, for a total of 18.
 +
 +
From there, compare to the Final Results Chart.
 +
 +
=== Quickcheck Rules ===
 +
 +
Sometimes (most of the time, really!), you really ''don't'' want to bother running through the entire sex rules above. Let's face it, after you're used to the calculations, the rules ''still' take a good minute to go through for each minute. Sure, the in-character sex might last two hours, but do you ''really'' want to take that long for a typical fling? Save the full rules for the rare case where the encounter is important - and preferably, ''still'' run it offscreen between only the relevant players and the GM, because this gets boring ''FAST'' for those not involved. (Hell, even the GM might be optional if it's two players between each other, or the GM sincerely trusts the players.)
 +
 +
To this end, the Quickcheck rules are available - consisting of a single Prowess check for the user, and a single Prowess check for their partner. Apply every single modifier that would apply to the session, naturally. If the GM wants to mix things up, just roll from the Mixing Things Up table.

''Failure'': The partner was left limp. They're probably going to mock you for a week or so. Not only that, but you lose a rank of Sexual Reputation - you don't live failures down easily at all!
 +
 +
''Satisfactory'': The session qualifies for the Satisfied bonus, but not much more than that...
 +
 +
''Decent'': The session was well above average; they'll be more pleasant to you, at least for a week.
 +
 +
''Memorable'': Your lovemaking will be a pleasant memory to them for some time; their reactions will be a good bit better towards you for a long time to come (unless you screw things up). This also nets you one rank of Sexual Reputation. (Hint: If trying to seduce enemies on a serious level, you need to do at ''least'' this well...)
 +
 +
''Great'': Even pretty jaded lovers would be impressed by these kind of results. Their reactions are ''much'' better to you for a week, and a good bit better after that. This nets you one rank of Sexual Reputation.
 +
 +
''Extraordinary'': The result is among the most treasured experiences of their life; their reaction will be ''much'' better to you for a long time to come (unless you screw things up). This is worth ''two'' ranks of Sexual Reputation.
 +
 +
''Heavenly'': Man, if you thought to get an etching done of this, or a recording (if appropriate to the setting), you'd make a ''lot'' of money. In the meanwhile, take a ''massive'' boon to their opinion of you for a week, and a ''much'' better reputation for some time to come. And ''two'' ranks of Sexual Reputation. (At this point, gods/goddesses of love/lust might start taking interest in you...)
 +
 +
''Rapturous'': Your pleasure has touched the subject's very ''soul''. Their opinion of you's going to be ''massively'' better pretty much forever, you gain ''four'' ranks of Sexual Reputation, and almost guaranteed a God or Goddess of love or lust is going to be paying attention to you for quite a while.
