nsfw Sexuality is just as learnable a talent as any other; sure, some have an inherent knack (see d20r Sexy:Feats for this), but they're relatively few in spite of everyone seeming to know one. Skills as related to sexuality tend to group into two things: Existing skills with sexual uses, and actual sex skills (which are almost entirely new). == Existing skills usable for Sex == === Appraise === Appraise is usable on people to get an idea of their ranks in Sexual Ability (DC 15 for within 1d10 of their actual score, DC 15 + their Hero Value for within 1d6 of their actual score, and DC 15 + their Level for within 1d3). === Seduction === Either check d20r:Silly_Skill_Uses for a general Seduction method, or just use one of these... BLUFF: A successful Bluff Check (against someone's Sense Motive) can convince someone that you are a suitable partner. For each point the character's opinion favors you (Neutral is 0, Friendly 1, Helpful 2, Charmed 4), you gain a +2 bonus to your Bluff check. For each point the character's opinion is against you (Neutral is 0, Unfriendly 1, Hostile 3), you gain a -2 penalty to your check. Apply your full beauty modifier to this check, and other modifiers (either direction) as the GM feels appropriate (a guy hitting on a straight guy's going to be at a penalty... Unless they have successfully bluffed the subject into thinking they're a girl, in which case a bonus might be in order!). If multiple people are propositioning a partner, the highest Bluff check that isn't seen through will seem most favorable (but the character is free to choose a less favorable proposition anyways for any reason they feel like). DIPLOMACY: A successful Diplomacy Check can convince someone that you are a suitable partner. (DC for Hostile is 35, Unfriendly 25, Neutral 15, Friendly 10, Helpful 5, and Charmed 0. Apply modifiers as would apply for Bluff above. Unlike the quick method (which kind of assumes the end result), this method doesn't guarantee they'll bed you. Arousing them using mental specializations of Sexual Ability is the best way to turn someone being convinced you would be a good partner into an actual partner. === Crafting Sex Toys === No, there's no Craft (Sex Toy) skill. Characters instead use existing skills (woodworking, sculpting, glassblowing would be relevant depending on the toy). === Crafting Aphrodesiacs and the like === There's no special Craft for these either. Either use Craft (Alchemy) or applications of the Brew Potion feat, depending on exactly what is being made. === Prostitution === Prostitution is often called the oldest profession in the world. Note that Profession: Prostitute (which is considered to roll in Courtesan or other higher-class terms for the general profession) does not represent knowing more about sex, only knowing how to make money using your body - things like how to deal with customers and pimps, avoid the law (or, if Prostitution's legal in the area, follow it properly), and find ideal business locations. === Sense Motive === Sense Motive can be used (opposed by a Bluff check) to attempt to determine faithfulness in a relationship, or the subject's sexual orientation (particularly if they're trying to hide it). The GM should assign a bonus based on how well the user knows the subject. == Sex-reated skills == === Sexual Reputation === Relevant Stat: CHA This skill cannot be invested or trained in - you gain or lose ranks in it based on the success or failure of your sexual encounters. (This skill uses ranks, against the d20r norm.) This skill represents your character's notoriety for sexual capacity. Bad sessions cost you Sexual Reputation, while really good sessions raise it. No checks are made in this stat per se, but sometimes, the GM can roll a Sexual Reputation check and apply that to the situation - a playboy with a reputation as a great lover will sometimes be at a major social advantage over the one whose abilities are unknown or only held as average. Generally, any such checks are rolled secretly. === Sexual Ability === Sexual Ability is considered a trained skill after the character has first had sex. Your Hero Value plus your Intelligence modifier plus any bonuses from synergy or feats, limited to the number of times your character has had sex (even if they didn't have the ranks when they did), is your character's "variety value". (If you or the GM are discussing whether or not a particular incident counts as having had sex, it probably does.) Relevant Stat: CHA Sexual Ability is technically a wide group of many disparate component skills; however, these are added together to one central modifier. You have as many specializations as your "variety value", which are used during a sexual encounter (or, more rarely, non-sexual encounter - the most obvious example being for seduction, naturally). If a category has "etc.", feel free to come up with more specializations (or more precise ones!). Lacking a specialization only lets you apply up to one-fourth your Sexual Ability modifier towards it (always round up). For example, if you had a Hero Value of two (and have had enough sex), you can take two specializations (plus one per point of INT), performing any at up to a +2 bonus (plus your Charisma modifier), and sexual activities outside of your specialization at +1 (round up) Specializations are grouped into categories, and can modify the DC of Prowess checks further by the partner's current state. ==== Physical Proficiencies ==== * Caress (Breasts, Erotic Massage, Stroking, etc.): Aroused -0, Peaked -2, Climax -10, Ecstasy -10 * Exotic (centering around unusual zones - Anal, Breasts, Thighs, etc.): Aroused -10, Peaked -2, Climax -0, Ecstasy -0 (for the receiver; Thruster is -5/-10/-10/-10 for checks on them) * Masturbation (Male, Female): Aroused -5, Peaked -0, Climax -0, Ecstasy -5 * Oral (Male, Female): Aroused -5, Peaked -0, Climax -0, Ecstasy -5 * Penetrative (By sexual position - cross, frontal, half-facing, inverted, etc. etc. etc.): Aroused -10, Peaked -2, Climaxed -0, Ecstatic -0 * Toys (By type - dildos, fruit, wands, etc.): Aroused -10, Peaked -2, Climax -0, Ecstasy -0 Penetrative or Exotic techniques, when used, are always auto-matched by a Prowess check back - this is automatic, but doesn't count against the number of Prowess checks they make that round. ==== Mental Proficiencies ==== Note that certain other skills provide a synergy bonus to Mental Proficiencies - these bonuses apply even though normal synergies do NOT apply in general d20r! * Bondage (By type - Contortion, hanging, inverted, ties, etc.) ** 5 or more ranks in Survival grant a +2 synergy bonus to Bondage checks. Willing subjects may be bound with a DC 10 Bondage check (rising further for more elaborate bondage - hanging bondage could rise into the 20s or even 30s!). They then receive Kink modifiers (see d20r Sexy:Sexual Alignment, Fetishes and Frets) for the rest of the encounter. * DSM (Domination, Submission) ** 5 or more ranks in Intimidate grant a +2 synergy bonus to Domination checks. ** 5 or more ranks in Sense Motive grant a +2 synergy bonus to Submission checks. ** Successful use of either (base DC 10) arouses subjects with your performance of domination/submission. They then receive Kink modifiers for the rest of the encounter. * Dirty Talk (By approach - Filthy, sweet, poetic, foreign language use, etc.) ** 5 or more ranks in Diplomacy grants a +2 synergy bonus to Dirty Talk checks. ** Knowing an unusual (for your race/area) language is a prerequisite to using it sexually. * Erotic Dance (By type - Lap, Pole, Striptease, etc.) ** 5 or more ranks in Perform (dance) grants a +2 synergy bonus to Erotic Dance checks. If performing a check in a group context, everyone within 30' is affected by your check, but your check is made at a -4 penalty.
