Sex can be completely and utterly free of consequences... With a little caution.
Line 7: Line 9:
At the end of an encounter in which a Tab A that entered a Slot B in the course of a penetrative check was capable of having concepting-related results, a flat check (no bonuses or penalties whatsoever, just a d20) is rolled. The woman is inseminated on a roll equal to or exceeding 20 minus their race's fertility modifier (to be decided by the GM using the chart below as a basis) - roll again at the same DC to determine if actual pregnancy occurs.

You'll notice that longer-lived species tend to not be as fertile - this is precisely the point, actually (being one of the ways nature keeps species populations in balance).

If a Contraceptive was used, lower the effective Fertility Modifier by 1 - to a minimum of 0. (In other words, a 20 ''still'' means a pregnancy.)

If a Contraceptive was used, lower the effective Fertility Modifier by 1 - to a minimum of 0. (In other words, a 20 ''still'' means a chance pregnancy.) If a Condom was used and not broken, conception automatically doesn't occur.
These rules ignore the estrus cycles of the women involved; this is partially a convenience measure (how many people ''really'' want to track That Time Of The Month for their characters, let alone NPCS?!), but also provides for how, when trying to avoid doing it at the wrong time, it's kind of tough to know for sure (unless they're, you know, ''bleeding'', at which point sex is a bad idea for entirely different reasons). If a player REALLY wants to keep track, the general rule should be that, on the ideal days of the cycle, raise the Fertility Modifier by 3; the rest of the time, the modifier is at a -3 instead. (Yes, this does make pregnancies still possible. That's normal.)

If this is part of your idea of fun... You're a total sadist towards your characters. Enjoy! If not... Let this suggest caution to you. (And keep in mind that your GM's free to throw in more diseases, and some real-world ones are ''worse'' than what we present here...) Unlike in the real world, however, you might have free or cheap access to highly reliable ways to detect and protect against diseases - this can really, ''really'' save you on some days...

Also consider that a serious spread of any STD will ''decimate'' a population - not only from disease-related deaths, but from people starting to fear sex, resulting in a long-term reduction of birth rates for a ''long'' time afterwards.

=== Mundane Diseases ===
 +
 +
Mundane sexually-transmitted diseases are burdensome, have incubation times, damage ability scores - other than how you catch them, they're just like normal diseases (however, contraceptives can help against them, lowering their save DCs by 2).

|Blossom ||Sexual ||13 ||1d3 days ||1d2 Str ||The character's lymph nodes are bizarrely effected by this disease, causing their breath to have the same effects as the [[d20r Sexy:Magic#Pheromone_Cloud | spell Pheromone Cloud]]. This leaves the victim constantly Horny (unless they have high HD and make their saves), which can result in infections spreading across much of a city before subsiding over several days.
 +
|-
 +
|Burning Genital Fever ||Sexual ||12 ||1 week ||1d3 Dex ||This disease causes a high fever, hallucinations, and ''extremely'' painful urination. If untreated for three whole months after secondary damage has been taken, the character has a 50% chance of going insane (as per the spell).
 +
|-
 +
|Cheese Rot ||Sexual ||13 ||2d4 days ||1d2 Con||An unpleasant condition characterized by a (non-poisonous but unpleasant-smelling) yellow discharge. Any oral checks on someone infected take a -4 penalty.
 +
|-
 +
|Crimson Boil ||Sexual ||16 ||2d10 days ||1d6 Cha||Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Charisma damage suffered becomes permanent. When this occurs, unsightly red boils appear all over the infected area. Victims usually degenerate afterward into delusions, stupor, spasms and, eventually, death. Crimson boil requires three successful checks in a row to be rid of.
 +
|-
 +
|Doom ||Sexual ||18 ||6 Months ||1d8 Str, 3d6 Con||This horrific disease lies dormant for quite some time in its victims before taking almost literally explosive form; around 90% of infected will have the mercy of dying within a single day of the onset of symptoms. Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Consitution damage suffered becomes permanent.
 +
|-
 +
|Harlot Fever ||Sexual ||14 ||1 day ||1d6 Wis||Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Wisdom damage suffered becomes permanent. When this occurs, the victim takes one point of the Nymphomania or Satyriasis (as appropriate for gender) Fetish - and another for each further point.
 +
|-
 +
|Itching Fury ||Sexual ||12 ||1d4 days ||1d4 Dex|| This disease causes a constant, annoying itch in inconvenient areas. Victims take a -4 to all Concentration checks while infected.
 +
|-
 +
|Pallid Droop ||Sexual ||13 ||2d6 days ||1d4 Str||This disease does not effect females (but they can still carry it!). Males infected become impotent; all prowess checks made against them take a -4 penalty.
 +
|-
 +
|Scrotal Bloat ||Sexual ||13 ||2d3 days ||1d8 Dex||Painful swelling ''all over the groin region''. Characters infected with this disease cannot run.
 +
|-
 +
|Seething fever ||Sexual ||16 ||2d6 Days ||1d4 Con ||Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Constitution damage suffered becomes permanent. This disease is ''notoriously'' hard to eliminate, requiring three saves (instead of the usual two) to clear.
 +
|-
 +
|Tuna Dredge ||Sexual ||12 ||1d6 Days ||1d3 Str||This disease does not effect males (but they can still carry it!). Victims secrete an oily black fluid smelling strongly of rotting tuna; Oral proficiency checks take a -8 penalty to them, and hungry animals might take notice.
 +
|-
 +
|Yellow Bugger ||Sexual ||15 ||1 Day ||1d4 Int ||Yellow Bugger originates from various species not well-known for their intelligence. It is known for it's ochre pallor along infected areas, and tendency to reduce victim's intelligence to being on par with the victim species.

=== Magical Diseases ===
 +
 +
And here's where things start getting ''really'' unpleasant... Their origins aren't known, but these arcane diseases. They are transmitted as normal diseases, but ''never'' fade naturally and cannot be removed by ''remove disease''; however, spells that dispel Enchantments can break them. These diseases are considered to have a Caster Level for this purpose.

|Elemental Secretion ||Sexual ||14 ||1d6 Days ||1d3 Str || 5th ||Upon Climax, a character infected with Energy Secretion shoots forth a stream of elemental energy, dealing 1d6+1/HD damage to whatever gets in its way. When infected, roll a d% to determine which kind of secretion the infection causes: 01-20 a stream of acid, 21-40 a bolt of electricity, 41-60 a gout of fire, 61-80 a blast of cold, 81-00 a wave of sonic energy. Using the withdrawal method gives a chance of avoiding the blast – if the conception check is negated by use of the withdrawal method, no damage is inflicted. (Note that weaponizing your genitalia while infected with this disease may be penalizable by your GM.)
 +
|-
 +
|Freud's Immersion ||Sexual ||17 ||1d2 Days ||1d8 Wis|| 9th|| Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Wisdom damage suffered becomes permanent. When this happens, the character receives one rank of the Nymphomania or Satyriasis fetish (stacking each time this occurs), as they begin to obsess over sexual matters. While infected, they are continuously Horny.
 +
|-
 +
|Morden's Petrification ||Sexual ||19 ||2d6 Days ||1d6 Str ||11th || Characters with this disease that enter Climax secrete a fluid that acts as ''Transmute Flesh to Stone'' on their partner. (Note that weaponizing your genitalia while infected with this disease may be penalizable by your GM.)
 +
|-
 +
|Mummy Crotch Rot ||Sexual ||19 ||1 Day ||1d6 Con||11th || Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Wisdom damage suffered becomes permanent. When this happens, their crotch ''permanently'' wastes away horrifically, rendering the subject incapable of physical arousal until a greater restoration, wish, or similar spell is used on them.
 +
|-
 +
|Orgasmic Arcana ||Sexual ||19 ||1d10 Days||1d2 Con ||11th|| A character infected with Orgasmic Arcana is imbued with volatile magic. Upon their first Climax in a sexual session, roll on the 1st-level arcane scroll list and apply the spell effect: harmless effects are usually targeted on the infected character, while others are usually cast on their partner (the GM has final discretion, but is encouraged to be evil). Anyone who survives this and decided to bring the character to a ''second'' Climax in the same sexual session gets a spell from the 2nd-level arcane scroll list, the third Climax on the 3rd-level arcane scroll list, and so on up to the 9th level list (if they're somehow alive that long).
 +
|-
 +
|Orgasmic Channeling ||Sexual ||19 ||1d10 Days||1d2 Con ||11th||An infected character's crotch is partially connected to the Positive Energy Plane ''and'' Negative Energy Plane. Upon their first Climax in a sexual session, they cast either cure minor wounds (if of good alignment) or inflict minor wounds (if of evil alignment) on their partner. If neutral, flip a coin - every time. The second Climax in a sexual session results in the casting of either cure or inflict light wounds, the third in cure or inflict moderate wounds, the fourth in cure or inflict severe wounds, and the fifth in cure or inflict critical wounds.
 +
|-
 +
|Screaming Glamer ||Sexual ||14 ||1d3 Days ||1d4 Cha ||5th || Victims of this disease have an uncontrollable urge to be as loud as possible during sexual intercourse; further, their volume increases by 10 decibels. Victims are also incapable of keeping quiet in social situations.
 +
|-
 +
|Epic Fail Disease ||Sexual ||17 ||1 Day ||1d3 Con ||9th ||Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Constitution damage suffered becomes permanent. Victims of Epic Fail Disease immediately Climax whenever they roll a natural 1 on a skill check or attack roll, unless they make a Fortitude save against the disease.
 +
|-
 +
|Irresistable Performance ||Sexual ||17 ||1d2 Days ||1d3 Con ||9th ||Characters must make an additional save upon taking damage, or 1 point of the Wisdom damage suffered becomes permanent. While infected, characters have the Nymphomania/Satyriasis Fetish at Rank 5. Anyone they engage in sexual activity with adds 5 to their gratification or the Quickcheck, and catches a lesser form of the disease (no damage, can't spread further, but does carry the Fetish effect).
 +
|-
 +
|Voyeur's Dream ||Sexual ||16 ||1d3 Days ||1d4 Wis ||7th ||When a character with Voyeur’s Dream Climaxes, everyone within a mile feels that someone has Climaxed. Should they Climax again in that sexual session, people within a mile sense that someone done so, and where. Each further time they Climax, everyone within a mile knows that they have done so, where they are, and receives a dream-like vision of what they’re doing. An Awareness check (DC 20) allows a viewer to identify the people involved in the act if they know them. Characters undergoing Ecstasy extend the range of this effect to ten miles.

== Other Difficulties ==
 +
 +
While there are not detailed rules on this, players should exercise caution in who they do it with even after clearing the diseases and rolling on the condom to prevent pregnancy... In particular, taking someone's virginity is a surefire way to draw a reaction from their parents. While the term "Shotgun Wedding" is technically inaccurate, an ''explosive runes'' spell can get the point across just as clearly, as does a wanted notice across an entire city or kingdom...

HINT: ''Never'' count on the Lord's daughter keeping a secret... Unless you have some ''really'' good blackmail on her. And preferably her father and/or mother too.
