Of course, stripping the subject of the painting comes at a cost... Namely, the appearance of the removal of the clothing/armor from everyone in the room. Fortunately, it's only an illusion, but it's good for scaring the pants off of everyone. The effect is like ''Emperor's New Clothes'', except the subject cannot see their clothes either.

A fine line of porcelain thrones form this high-end bathroom. Odd for it to be in the middle of a dungeon, but the chance to clean up should be appreciated...
 +
 +
... Until you flush the toilet, and get afflicted by a ''Cramping Touch'' spell.
 +
 +
For a fully trapped bathroom, have the sinks randomly pour bubbling acid instead of water (turn it off and on again and you might get water the next time)!

:Primary Trigger: Pressure plates hidden around the bed
 +
:Primary Trap Effect: Fuzzy objects drain all physical arousal from those in the trap area (Fort save DC 12 negates)
 +
:Bypass: No foreplay off the bed. Or ''Dispel Magic'' works too.

:Reset: Automatic

:Cost: 2,000 GP

A cheap way to reflect disapproval of one's daughter's dalliances. The entire carpet around the bed is a giant pressure plate, with certain strands of the carpet being permanently modified by ''Frigid Touch''. When the pressure plate is down, the strands move around, inevitably brushing against the target's feet (this being well inside a normal house, one wouldn't be wearing shoes). Most of the time, this looks like a neat room gimmick.
 +
 +
If anyone in the room is aroused, however, they'll find their arousal fades quickly whenever the strands touch them... And given that an area five feet around the bed is covered in them, it'll be hard to get from there to the bed to actually enjoy that arousal.

=== Fake Pheromones Trap ===

:CR: 1
 +
:Type: Mechanical
 +
:Search: Trap (DC 30), Trigger (DC 30)
 +
:Disable Device: Trap (DC 30, 2d4 rounds); trigger (DC 30, 2d4 rounds)
 +
:Primary Trigger: Pressure plate (including ''any'' failure to deactivate it)
 +
:Primary Trap Effect: A gas that turns out to be just water vapor with pink food coloring fills the room.
 +
:Bypass: Disable the pressure plate, easy enough.
 +
:Reset: Automatic
 +
:Cost: 5,000 GP
 +

This trap is extremely overbuilt, being very difficult to detect or disable - further, a failure to deactivate the trap automatically sets it off. Anyone who notices it and accidentally activates it will find themselves quite embarassed when the door locks behind them, and the room fills with a pink gas...
 +
 +
... That does ''absolutely nothing''. Say what you will, but if you want an ego punch, there's nothing quite like making people fear for their lives pointlessly.

=== Painful Warning ===

:CR: 1

:Type: Combination (Magical [''Mage Slap''] and Mechanical)

:Search: Trap (DC 20), Trigger (DC 20)

:Disable Device: Trap (DC 20, 2d4 rounds); trigger (DC 20, 2d4 rounds)

:Primary Trigger: Tripwire
 +
:Primary Trap Effect: Subject is slapped in the face by an illusory hand.
 +
:Bypass: No foreplay off the bed. Or ''Dispel Magic'' works too.
 +
:Reset: Automatic
 +
:Cost: 2,000 GP

This trap's pretty simple, and, for GMs who are merciful, a great way to warn people to watch the hell out. Quite simply, anyone who ''touches'' the tripwire feels like they were slapped in the face by an invisible hand. It hurts, inflicts one point of nonlethal damage, and leaves a stinging red mark.

=== Sexuality Adjustment Trap ===
 +
 +
:CR: 2
 +
:Type: Combination (Magical [''Skew Sexuality'', ''Minor Image'', and ''Detect Sexuality''] and Mechanical)
 +
:Search: Trap (DC 24), Trigger (DC 24)
 +
:Disable Device: Trap (DC 24, 2d4 rounds), Trigger (DC 24, 2d4 rounds)
 +
:Primary Trigger: Pressure Plate
 +
:Primary Trap Effect: ''Skew Sexuality'' forces the victim's sexuality all the way to the extreme farthest from their norm for one hour (Will save DC 14 or Reflex save DC 14 negates)
 +
:Bypass: Avoiding the pressure plate or breaking the statue
 +
:Reset: Manual (Spell must be reapplied after use)
 +
:Cost: 4,000 GP
 +
 +
The room is occupied by a Medium-sized statue of a beautiful, androgenous figure. Anyone who stands directly in front of it - and ''only'' directly in front of it - sees its eyes as glowing red. One might expect a gaze trap, but in reality, the effect already starts upon standing in that location.
 +
 +
The trap first uses a variant of ''Detect Sexuality'', rotating a hidden internal dial in a casting rune (a Rogue who gets to the dial will see two settings, "DUDES" and "CHICKS") hidden on the inside of the base of the statue. The rune is then activated, temporarily warping the victim's sexuality to the opposite extreme (a man generally attracted to women would find himself exclusively attracted to men for one hour). The would-be victim can escape the spell by getting off the pressure plate between when the eyes start to glow and the spell is cast - about one second.

Annoying? Probably. REALLY annoying? After you throw in some of the sexy-yet-nonlethal traps and the subject acts.
