This campaign setting is meant to capture the feel of being trapped on an isolated, dangerous island with survival as the main concern (similar to the Isles of Dread). Especially at lower levels, combat will be only secondary, despite the fact the huge amounts of powerful threats they will face. This is not the standard hack-and-slash campaign, as characters will be facing off against creatures with a CR rating nine or ten levels above them. The main goal is to use the environment around them to outwit and out-survive enemies, while also helping other natives. Only the best of the best can survive for any length of time.
