Anime d20 Renaissance is meant to be a companion product to [[~~D20_Rebirth~~]]. Like d20 Rebirth, this pretty much involves wholesale dumping everything in order to recapture the quintessence of the game. Unlike d20 Rebirth, full samples are planned for many areas, because the primary author, [[User:NekoIncardine | NekoIncardine]] is an incorrigible writing fanatic.

Ad20r provides players and DMs with a full-point-buy scheme that integrates fully into the d20r mechanics - allowing the creation of all kinds of unusual class combinations and character concepts, while still balancing reasonably with regular play.

The actual rules, in spite of the name "Anime", are universal in nature - regardless of the target tone, the entire system should be usable for any environment the DM pleases. Some more strictly anime-focused content will be provided in addition.
