=Sessions= ==Session 1: Hollow Victory== Arriving at Giant's Hollow to reinforce a small human colony, the party gets into a fight with the giant Kazmer Rade, slaying him but losing their commander in the process and letting a human traitor get away. Before he died, Rade mentioned that he and the traitor were both being paid by someone higher up... ====Loot==== * Susurrus, intelligent +1 Elven Courtblade: wielder gains the use of Improved Sunder, Combat Expertise, Blind-fighting, item can use ''haste'' on wielder for 10 rounds per day. ====Progress==== * 1200 XP * DR0 and minor portfolio of Blades (Aralynn) ==Session 2: Wood for Sheep== The traitor escaped on their boat, but not before trying to turn the village against the party. After visiting a lake inhabited by a spider fey and then trying to molest her, the party is healed of their wounds and begins preparing for the primordial attack. Selene has sent experienced warriors to the north and east, militia to the west, and kept the fresh recruits close to watch the sea. ====Progress==== * 500 XP * Stigmata feat for Rar-grarbl ==Session 3: Family Tree== The party journeyed to the River Tribe of ogres, and secured the help of their chief, Shaman Janek. Janek enchanted for them six rings, which prevent primordials from attacking the wearer in some way. The party also learned more about Kazmer Rade, most notably that he is not dead, may have grown even more heads, and could currently be plotting with the traitor to reclaim the portfolio of Blades. ====Progress==== * 800 XP * 6 rings that will protect the wearer from primordials for 12 days ==Session 4: == The party fought off an attack by three blade beasts shortly after finding out their protective rings only have a range of 5 feet, and the concealment is broken upon hostile action. They force the mayor to order the evacuation of Giant's Hollow, aided by the conveniently arrived mail runner, the Kestrel. ====Progress==== * 750 XP * Two beastblades: light martial weapons, 1d6 piercing/slashing damage, 19-20/x2 critical, can be thrown with 15ft range increment. 3 lb. =Characters= ==Commander Jukka Mlynarik, Minor God of Blades== Former commander of the garrison of Giant's Hollow. Arrogant and dead. ==Warmaster Kazmer Rade== A many-headed giant imbued with strange magical powers that wishes to rule over giantkind. Made some sort of deal in order to kill Mlynarik and take his portfolio. He is an outcast among his people. Revealed in Session 3 to have been the son of a former great chief, guided by dark spirits. No ogre worth their name would follow him, according to the River Chieftain - however, it's possible he will come back to life yet again. ==Susurrus== A telepathic weapon that bestows its wielder with great skill on the battlefield. It believes itself to be superior over all other tools of war and revels in their destruction. Despite this bullish single-mindedness, its wit can be as sharp as its blade. ==Lady of the Forest== A reclusive spirit garbed in spidersilk, the pale-skinned Lady offers healing to those that come to her lake with some form of tribute. ==Shaman Janek== The guide of the small River Tribe, this ogre is surprisingly accepting of weak and tiny people. He holds the knowledge of a ritual that can shield one from primordials.
