Megaman games! ==Mega Man 11== Several of the world's greatest robot scientists have been kidnapped and forced to work for General Ironside, a ruthless dictator who wants to use their creations to take over the world! Only Mega Man can put a stop to this mad villain! ===Game Structure=== Eight levels, four Fort Ironside levels, four Wily Castle levels. ===Plot Developments=== Dr. Wily was legitimately kidnapped and forced to make robots; Ironside is an actual independent villain, though when he is defeated by Mega Man, Wily is able to use the disarray to stage a combination escape/attack. The Robot Elite Defenders form in response to Ironside's attack, though Mega Man declines the invitation to join. First appearance of Nova, only the second robot to canonically defeat Mega Man in single combat. ===Robot Masters=== ====Optic Man==== A laser and hologram robot. His Optic Beam pierces through anything. '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Holograms, reflecting and refracting laser beams.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Optic Beam, blinding flash, ''holographic dodge''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Cyber Net'' disrupts laser cohesion. ====Titan Man==== A powerful but lightweight robot. His Titan Grip extends to grab and crush.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Metools, moving titanium frames.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Titan Grip, ground drill, ''crushing block''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Optic Beam'' cuts through the powerful titanium armor. ====Monsoon Man==== A hurricane robot. His Storm Cannon fires a powerful jet of water in an upward arc.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Moving "eye" safe zones, wind, tides.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Storm Cannon, blowing/sucking fan, ''hurricane attack''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Titan Grip'' jams the fans and ruins flight. ====Launch Man==== A missile-firing plane robot. His Launch Missile scatters quick homing missiles.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Missile launchers, plane enemies<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Launch Missile, exploding rocket, bombing run, ''strafe''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Storm Cannon'' can reach up high and soak the propellers. ====Blaze Man==== A powerful thermal energy robot. His Blaze Runner zips across the ground at high speeds.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Fire hazards become more dangerous during surges.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Blaze Runner, fire somersault, ''overheat''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Launch Missile'' is fast enough to catch up. ====Skate Woman==== A quick snow-and-ice robot. Her Skate Freezer forms a pillar of cold beneath as she jumps.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' "Skate" devices, slippery surfaces<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Skate Freezer, icing, ''axle spin''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Blaze Runner'' melts the surface of the ice. ====Volt Man==== An aggressive electric robot. His Volt Charge rushes him forward with a powerful electric strike.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Conductive surfaces damage or kill when charged.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Volt Charge, ground shock, ''lightning bolt''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Skate Freezer'' creates a trap to crash into. ====Cyber Man==== A data transferring virtualized robot. His Cyber Net surrounds him, intercepting threats.<br> '''Stage Gimmicks:''' Rule-changing sections, digitalizing maze.<br> '''Boss Attacks:''' Cyber Net, transmission, life drain, ''copy''<br> '''Weakness:''' The ''Volt Charge'' overloads the network. ==Mega Man 12== Dr. Young calls Dr. Light for help to protect his greatest creations, a pair of Robot Masters who contain new technology and great potential. Only Mega Man can defend the robots from those who would seek to exploit them! ===Game Structure=== Eight levels, interquel level after four levels, mini-level after eight Robot Masters defeated, four Wily Castle levels. ===Plot Developments=== Introduction of Verse & Chorus. RED aids Mega Man, but he still refuses to join. Mega Man's first crush, which Wily exploits. First appearance of Dr. Young. Dr. Wily discovers a key component missing from his Ultimate Robot. ===Robot Masters=== ? ==Mega Man 13== The Robot Elite Defenders decide to rebel against the humans and seize power to form their own nation! Humanity needs its last, best defender to restore the peace: Mega Man! ===Game Structure=== Eight levels, four "reformat" levels, four RED Headquarters levels, four Wily Castle levels. ===Plot Developments=== The Elite Robot Defenders are disbanded. Proto Man seems to go rogue; helps Mega Man one last time before disappearing. King establishes a nation for the remaining RED robots. Dr. Light starts work on Project X. ===Robot Masters=== ??? ==Mega Man 14== Though Dr. Wily is in prison and RED has been dissolved, the world still faces a new threat from a devilish young inventor, Dr. Regal! Mega Man must rush to stop this powerful new force! ===Game Structure=== Eight levels, four Regal Palace levels, four Wily's Sky Base levels. ===Plot Developments=== Wily is not seen escaping. Dr. Regal is revealed to be Wily's son. Nova works for Regal. Proto Man is not seen or heard from. Terra has been rebuilt by Dr. Light. Dr. Wily reuses the Stardroids. ===Robot Masters=== ??? ==Mega Man 15== With Wily gone for good and Dr. Regal joining Light Labs, the world seems to be at peace. Now Wily's heir activates his last Robot Masters in an attempt to get revenge on Dr. Light and Mega Man! ===Game Structure=== Eight levels, four Bass' Fortress levels, four Wily's Lab levels. ===Plot Developments=== Dr. Wily is trapped in his collapsing laboratory. First appearance of Zero (Proto Zero). Death of Duo. Dr. Light injured, begins developing test protocols for the Project X capsule in his stead. Evil Energy installed in Proto Zero.
